Police have charged a 21 year old man after he allegedly attempted to rape a 17 year old girl on Monday in Nadawa.
Police said the victim was on her way to the bathroom, which is about 15 meters away from their house, when the suspect grabbed her from behind and dragged her to a nearby bush.
The victim yelled for help and a neighbour came to her rescue and managed to apprehend the suspect.
The 21 year old has been bailed and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
