Police have charged a man who is alleged to have been involved in the brutal murder of 19 year old Rajesh Prasad of Navua.
Director CID SSP Waisea Vakamocea confirms they charged the man late yesterday afternoon and he will be taken to the Suva Magistrates Court this morning.
A 39 year old man saw Prasad's van parked in an isolated spot with blood inside and reported the matter at the Pacific Harbour Police Post, who responded immediately and found Prasad's body about 200 metres away from the van on Saturday afternoon.
Prasad had stab wounds on his neck, chest and other parts of his body.
