A 44 year old man of Vatukoula has been charged with murder for allegedly kicking his wife to death.
Divisional Crime Officer, ASP Vijay Singh said the man has been charged and is expected to appear in court next week.
The incident took place on the 27th of last month when the man allegedly kicked his wife who sustained serious injuries in the head and stomach.
She was airlifted from Lautoka to Suva hospital where she died last night.
The alleged incident took place after the woman who was sick could not look after their daughter who was having her bath.
