Police have arrested and charged a 24 year old man of Tokotoko, Navua with arson for allegedly setting fire to his father’s house.
Assistant Spokesperson, Corporal Josaia Weicavu has confirmed that the incident took place after a heated argument between the father and the son.
It is alleged that the son then set fire to his family home. The double-story house was partly burned down.
The damage done by fire is estimated around $50,000. He will appear in the court on Monday.
