A 36 year old man is now admitted in Sigatoka hospital after he was attacked by a wild boar yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred in Sigatoka valley when the victim who was returning home after hunting, went to check up on his pig traps.
The wild boar is suspected to have been chased by another group of hunters. The man who received deep gash on his thighs is now under observation.
Police say this is not the first time a hunter has been attacked by wild pigs and they must be more careful before going out hunting.
