Police have charged a 37 year old man from Naleba, Labasa, for allegedly knifing his father-in-law.
Police said the two who live next door had a heated argument early yesterday morning after which the son-in-law used a cane knife and knifed his father-in-law several times.
The victim received serious injuries and has been admitted at Labasa hospital’s intensive care unit.
The alleged man is expected to appear in the Labasa Magistrates court later this afternoon.
