A 30 year old man is fighting for his life at the Lautoka hospital after he was allegedly hacked by his neighbour.
Police confirms the incident took place in Guruwaya place in Lautoka yesterday afternoon when the victim who was drunk was having an argument with his family member.
Police say the neighbour came to the rescue and in return was allegedly assaulted by the victim.
It is than alleged the neighbour went to his home and brought a cane knife and struck the victim in his stomach.
The 30 year old man has received serious injuries. Police are expected to question the neighbour soon.
