A Police Constable based at the Nadi Police station is under investigation for allegedly forcing a man to eat a frog and drink urine.
Divisional Police Commander Western, SSP Fesaitu Kava has confirmed that an investigation is underway after the victim lodged a report with Nadi Police.
He said police are trying to establish whether the allegations are true.
The man has also claimed that he was allegedly assaulted and he has broken ribs.
SSP Kava said a senior officer has been assigned to investigate the constable.
