Thirty-one Fiji students are currently studying at Malaysian institutions and hopes are high that this number will rise following the Malaysia Education Exhibition currently being held in Suva.
The Exhibition is co-organized with Fiji's Higher Education Commission and was hosted two years in a row with last year’s exhibition taking place in June 2009, which saw over 1,000 students attend.
Team leader Kabilan Muniandy who also consults the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education said they have decided to come back to Fiji as there has been a lot of queries about studying in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, Form 7 students of John Wesley College who attended the exhibition yesterday said they were happy at being given the chance to explore options for higher education.
Day two of the exhibition continues today at the Holiday Inn in Suva.
