Fiji's light heavyweight boxer, Isaia Junior Maku has been given a visa to compete in his first international fight in Hamilton, New Zealand this Saturday.
Boxing Commission of Fiji Director, Malakai Veisamasama said this boxing program is organized by Duco Promotions Limited.
According to Veisamasama, Junior Maku will be accompanied by his uncle and Fiji's former Golden Boy Sakaraia Ve and will take on Sam Rapira, a Maori who is also known as “The Terror”.
Junior Maku is undefeated after winning six of his nine local fights.
He leaves for New Zealand tomorrow.
Meanwhile, in the main event, heavyweight boxer David Tua will take on Alexander Ustinov for the WBA Pan African Heavyweight Title.
