Majority of the Fiji Pearls players who featured in the Oceania Netball Tri-Series early this year are expected to be named to be part of the 2015 Fiji Netball team to the Pacific Games.
Coach Kate Carpenter has been working tirelessly with the trainers and development officers in trying to get the best out of the players who have been exposed in a few international tests.
The Netball Super League has also set the bench mark for the games as many young talents stepped up to provide tough competition to experienced players.
Some of the big names that are expected to be announced this evening are Matila Waqanidrola, Maria Lutua, Mere Nailiko, Taraima Rara Mitchell and Unaisi Rauluni.
Carpenter is expected to name her team at their Fundraining Cocktail Reception tonight at the Holiday Inn.
Meanwhile, BSP gave $10,000 yesterday to the team for the Pacific Games preparations.
Their target is to raise $290,000.
Fiji will be represented in 25 sports in the Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea which will be held from the 4th to the 18th of July.
