Top rugby executives in the country have been re-endorsed by the various provincial Unions to contest the Fiji Rugby Union Board membership at their AGM this weekend.

Despite many calls for the removal of the Board, many of the current executives have been re-endorsed by the Unions.

Suva has given in the names of Rafaele Kasibulu, Mosese Nailumu, Vilikesa Rauca as their nominees.

Naitasiri has given in close to 10 names with current Board chairman Keni Dakuidreketi and Vili Kenatabua.

Nadroga has given in the name of former Sigatoka Mayor, Ratu Sikeli Tasere while Navosa has endorsed Suva Grammar School Principal, Ilikini Kunagogo and Beqa's John Sandy as their nominees.

Current Board Member Illifereti Kete has been nominated by Nadi.

In the current FRU Board make up, 8 members are chosen by the Unions while the other 3 are chosen by the Rakavi Trust.

The FRU Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held this Saturday at the Nasova Police Academy.
