Major upgrading works are underway at the Waila and Tamavua treatment plant which is causing the low water level at Wainibuku reservoir and as a result some places between the Suva-Nausori corridor do not have normal water supply.
Water Authority of Fiji spokesperson Maika Nagalu said residents between the Suva-Nausori corridor can expect low pressure as work continues.
For residents still facing water cuts, Nagalu said water trucks will be carting water to the affected areas.
Meanwhile, residents from Tawatawa in Lautoka said they are not receiving normal water supply for the past six weeks.
A resident Hemant Kumar said they have to bath and get water from the nearby creek.
He claimed they live close to the reservoir.
Western spokesperson Joe Cava said they have been carting water as this is in the high areas.
Residents have been urged to call the Water Authority directly if they are facing water disruptions.
