A steady flow of supporters into the Fiji camp has boosted the morale of the Digicel 7s team ahead of the New Zealand 7s tomorrow.
Speaking to Fijivillage from their hotel room this morning,
Team Manager Tevita Waqairawai said former Fiji citizens have been visiting the boys since they jetted in and this has lifted the spirits in camp.
Waqairawai said at the nation’s parade today they have been assured of major crowd support.
Yesterday the national team took on the Wellington Fijians team led by Api Naikatini as well as the PNG national team in warm up matches.
Waqairawai said following the games, some changes were made in the team and the boys are ready for the Tournament.
The Digicel Fiji 7s team takes on France tomorrow at 1.44pm, then Canada at 4.40pm and the last pool game is against South Africa at 9.12pm.
