A major change in the Fiji Football Association calendar for next year is looming with a proposal that the National soccer league should be played from November this year to April next year.

The Oceania Football Confederation wants the soccer format to be changed in Fiji.

Fiji FA's Acting President, Sheik Ibrahim said they are now carrying out final work in organizing the calendar for next year.

It has also been proposed that major soccer tournaments and club competitions will be held from April to November, following the completion of the National soccer league.
