Firefighters are currently battling a major bus fire just outside the Suva Flea Market.
All the passengers have been taken out.
Thick smoke is covering the area outside the Flea Market as the firefighters are still trying to extinguish the flames.
Motorists are advised that Rodwell Road from the Flea Market is closed to all traffic.
Please take alternative routes.
National Fire Authority CEO John O’Connor said they are trying to locate the bus driver to interview him.
He added fire fighters have now started clearing the road as one lane has now been opened.
He said they received a call after midday however, they found difficulties to reach the scene due to traffic jam.
The cause of the bus fire is still unknown.
