The Interim Defense and Immigration Minister has today revealed that a major reform is underway in the Fiji Police Force to reduce violent crimes and other serious offences in the country that needs to be addressed urgently.
Ratu Epeli Ganilau told the one hundred police officers at their passing out parade in Nasova this morning that these changes are made for the betterment of the people who continue to get victimized.
The Interim Defense Minister also stressed that the Interim government's priority is to maintain peace and security in the country.
A total of 100 police officers were part of the passing out parade. Out of the 100 officers, 15 were females.
