Military Spokesman Major Neumi Leweni will be leaving the country this Friday with his family to take up his new post in Beijing.

Speaking to Village news this afternoon Major Leweni said he is looking forward to his new post as Military Attache and also the first counsellor to Sir James Ah Koy who was appointed Fiji's Ambassador to China for 4 years.

Major Leweni said one of his main tasks in Beijing is to strengthen the military relations between the Fiji Military forces and the People's Liberation army which is rated as one of the world biggest.

He said his replacement as RFMF Spokesperson will be chosen after he will leave this Friday.
