Mai Television is the second company that has been given the free to air television license.
Permanent Secretary for Communications Amena Yauvoli confirms the company has been awarded the license after they were successful in meeting all the technical requirements.
Meanwhile, Channel Two Television which already has been awarded the license has come under the spotlight after its Director, Mike Brooks who holds 51% of the shares in the company, resigned from his position.
According to the Communications Ministry, they are investigating the matter and will make a comment soon after the investigations.
