The acting Chief Executive officer for Fiji Hardwood Corporation Limited is hopeful that the timber industry will reach new height in the coming years.
Steven Clarke told Fijivillage News that the mahogany industry is now progressing well.
Meanwhile Attorney General and Public Enterprises Minister, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum has stressed on the importance of branding Fiji mahogany.
During the workshop of Fiji Hardwood Corporation on the five year plan from next year, Sayed Khaiyum said this will enable maximum returns to landowners and dollar value out of our timber.
