The National Federation Party has called on the Interim Finance Minister, Mahendra Chaudhry to resign.
NFP's Acting Assistant General Secretary, Bimal Prasad said Chaudhry has forgotten that NFP was also the victim of the 1987 coup and was very vocal after the May 2000 coup. He said the NFP also condemned some of the SDL's policies.
