The Magistrates Courts throughout the country will be opened at 8 this morning.
According to the Acting Chief Registrar, all the Resident Magistrates who were sworn in under the Administration of Justice Decree 2009 yesterday will be assigned to the various Magistrates Courts around Suva, Nausori, Nasinu, Ba, Tavua, Rakiraki, Lautoka, Nadi and Labasa.
Yesterday eight Resident Magistrates who were sworn in at Government House before the President Ratu Josefa Iloilo included Salesi Temo, Alofa Seruvatu, Maika Nakora, John Rabuku, Anare Tuilevuka, Mohammed Nazeem Nadeem Sahu Khan, Angela Wati and Faizal Koya.
The Chief Magistrate is Ajmal Gulab Khan.
