Suva Magistrate Amani Rokotinaviti sent a stern warning today as he sentenced two unemployed men to prison in separate cases.

In the first case, Maciu Tamani of Baulevu Nausori was sentenced to 7 months imprisonment after he pleaded guilty to breaking into a vehicle at a home in Bay View Heights in March this year and stole assorted items.

In another incident, 21 year old Vereniki Ravulolo was sentenced to 12 months behind bars.

Ravulolo pleade guilty to breaking into a home in Fulaga street while the occupants were sleeping and stealing assorted items worth over $2,500.

Magistrate Rokotinaviti gave the two a long lecture for being a nuisance to society before sending them to prison.
