Fiji was the biggest life changer for my career.
Those were the words of Vodafone Flying Fijians prop Campese Ma’afu who has played 33 tests for Fiji since 2010.
Ma’afu who was born and raised in Australia has been a regular starter for the national side since making his debut against the Wallabies in 2010.
The 30-year-old says he is blessed to be part of the Flying Fijians.
He adds that the biggest highlight of his rugby career was when he had to go head to head against his brother in 2010.
Ma’afu is of Tongan and Fijian decent, has four siblings and is currently playing in France.
He believes that they will need to improve a lot on their set pieces before they head to the Rugby World Cup.
The Vodafone Flying Fijians will leave for England next Monday.
They will play Canada in a warm up match on the 6th of next month before taking on England at 7am on the 19th of next month in the opening Rugby World Cup.
