The Blues Super rugby coach Sir John Kirwan said All Blacks second five eighth Ma’a Nonu is more motivated to perform at Super level than ever before.
Nonu quit the Blues to join the Highlanders at the end of 2012, leaving Kirwan fuming and with a massive midfield hole last season.
With Nonu returning to the Blues, Kirwan is adamant the 31 year old does not deserve the tag of Super Rugby problem child.
Nonu is unlikely to be ready for the Blues first super rugby game against the Highlanders on the 22nd of next month.
