The MV Seaview is Fiji’s newest tourist attraction and the world’s largest ever underwater viewing vessel.

Director of the Melanesian Trading Company Limited Robert Vander Moigg said the $1.28 million MV Seaview permanently sits two thirds beneath the water.

The 18m long vessel he said was built in Fiji and has 14 glass panels or windows, that are 2 inches thick to provide a spectacular underwater view of the Mamanucas.

Day and night tours from the Denarau Marina are expected to begin in 2 weeks time with the MV Seaview able to seat up to 47 people.

Meanwhile, Attorney General and Minister of Tourism Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is in Nadi to officially launch the MV Seaview today.
