The members of the Melanesian Spearhead group this morning in a special meeting have reaffirmed their desire to have Melanesian Games by 2013.
Addressing representatives of the five member countries, Fiji's Foreign Affairs Minister Ratu Inoke Kubuabola said that a game is very important for the Group.
He adds it will also act as a way to promote our future generation.
Meanwhile, a treaty is expected to be signed on Friday between the MSG members for an Agreement on traditional knowledge sharing.
The meeting is underway at the Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi.
