MOBs can still send sons to Marist
Most of the Marist Old Boys from the West raised concerns on this issue at the MOBilise Conference yesterday, and asked if they could be assisted as most wanted to send their sons to Marist.
Attorney General and Marist Old Boy, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum confirmed that the Old Boys could still send their sons to board at the school, however, they were to provide evidence that they attended Marist and wanted their sons to follow in the tradition.
Sayed-Khaiyum added Marist was open to all students, irrespective of their race, ethnicity or religion and the main focus is for it to excel in education and stand out amongst the rest.
Meanwhile, MOB President Ben Salacakau said that working together with all is one of the foundations of the Marist Community.
It has also been confirmed that the next MOBilise conference will be held in Brisbane next year.
