Commissioner of Police Ben Groenewald has confirmed that the Chairman of the Media Industry Development Authority, Ashwin Raj has been charged with one count of annoyance and was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Groenewald said an individual lodged a complaint against Raj for annoyance.
Meanwhile , Groenewald has also confirmed that Raj visited his office this week and lodged an official complaint against the alleged manner his case was handled by their officers.
The matter has been referred to the Internal Affairs Department for investigation.
