Four men involved in the MH Superfresh robbery two years ago were found guilty this afternoon in the High Court before Justice Daniel Gounder.

Sakiusa Rokonabete, Akuila Dromudole, Alifereti Tokona and Guston Kean had majority vote with two of the three assessors finding them guilty of the robbery at Superfresh on Mead Road in 2006.

In the course of the case, the four had chosen to represent themselves questioning witnesses and trying to establish their innocence.

The men were part of a group which robbed customers and staff at the supermarket in July, 2006 emptying cash registers and personal handbags.

The men stole $21,000.

They will be sentenced tomorrow.
