As the hunt continues for 9 men who robbed the MH Superfresh Supermarket in Tamavua on Saturday afternoon, police will today consult the Land Transport Authority to get details of the minivan used as the getaway vehicle.

The light brown minivan registration EG 109 is still missing and police are finding difficulties in locating the minivan as no report has been lodged with police that the minivan has been stolen.

Police suspect that a fake registration plate was also used.

9 masked men armed with cane knives, pinch bars and broken beer bottles stormed into the supermarket and fled with $25,000 cash.

Police confirm they have identified two robbers with the help of supermarket workers and are working on leads and are yet to make any arrests.

30 police officers are working on the case.
