The National Fire Authority is yet to establish the cause of fire that completely destroyed the MH Homemaker and Supermarket in Labasa two weeks ago.

Acting chief fire officer Tupou Saubuliniyau said they have not received anything concrete from their investigating officers so far and they will need more time to compile a report on the fire.

The Fire Authority had earlier confirmed the fire had started from the top floor of the building where the bulk store was located.

According to MH executives, the cost of damage stands around seven to eight million dollars.
