Marist Brothers High School will meet Suva Grammar in the final of the U18 rugby competition this Saturday to determine which team will finish as the number 1 and 2 Southern Zone seed team for the Deans quarter final next month.
Suva Grammar beat John Wesley 11-9 in the semifinal while Marist edged Nasinu 15-13.
The Marist team is one of the favorites to win the Deans trophy after winning the U17 grades in last year’s final.
In other grades final, U15 will be between Suva Grammar and Marist, In U17 Marist will meet Nasinu and in the U19 grade, Lami will take on Nabua.
In the Eastern Zone the 3 qualifiers are defending champion Lelean, QVS and RKS.
Their rankings coming into the National U18 quarter finals will be determined in the next two weeks.
