Defending Champions of the Coca Cola Games, Marist Brothers High School is taking a cautious approach in the track and field events to retain its boys division title.

Marist no doubt has a strong hold in the field events.

Out of their 21 gold medals in the Suva Zone Two, 13 came from the field events.

Team Manager, Navitalai Waiwalu said every event that his boys will be taking part in is crucial and every medal will have a significant impact this time around.

Marist came first last year in the boys division with 15 gold, 7 silver and 3 bronze while Suva Grammar School finished second with 12 gold, 7 silver and 3 bronze.

Meanwhile, Meet Organizer Vuli Waqa is urging current Coke Games  record holders to come forward as they want these former athletes to be part of the games.

The Coca Cola Games will be held this Thursday and Friday at the ANZ Stadium.
