Waisea Luveniyali is out and it is highly likely that Wame Lewaravu will make a return on Sunday.

This is the confirmation from the Flying Fijians media liaison officer, Vilikesa Rinavuaka as they gear up to meet Wales after the loss to Samoa last weekend.

Meanwhile captain Deacon Manu is determined that their campaign will not end on a low note against Wales this weekend.

Manu said though Fiji’s chances of reaching the quarter finals is slim, the players have been reminded that they are still representing Fiji.

He added there will be some new players on Sunday, and they will bring some new energy into the squad.

Manu admitted that it has been disappointing and it is evident with smaller teams that though they play well in phases for the first 60 minutes, they fade out in the last 20 minutes.

Fiji though, have a good recent record against Wales, following up their 2007 win in Nantes by drawing 16-16 at the Millennium Stadium 10 months ago.

The Fiji and Wales game kicks off at 5pm on Sunday at Hamilton.

Meanwhile, today at 7.30pm, Samoa will take on South Africa.
