The Interim Minister for Health, Doctor Jiko Luveni has called on all the women in the country to support her to drive women's issues in the way they want it, in the People's Charter.

She has urged the Divisional Managers of the Department of Women to advocate the National Council for Building a Better Fiji to their stakeholders.

Dr Luveni at a workshop on the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women in Suva, she stressed that the quickest way to move the country forward is through the charter.

She said women can only be heard if they are represented in the National Council. Dr Luveni believes the People's Charter will be the fastest way to take the country forward to democratic elections through everyone's involvement. She said the seat for the National Council of Women is still there and she has also asked the Women's Organizations to get on board to make changes from within.
