The Digicel Fiji 7's team has been hit with an injury scare ahead of the Japan 7's this week.

Rover, Joeli Lutmailagi is carrying an injury to his left knee but the team management is hopeful that Lutumailagi will recover in time.

Lutumailagi did not attend this morning's first training run in Tokyo.

Meanwhile, the Fiji 7's team arrived safely in Japan last night where Fiji's ambassador to Japan, Isikeli Mataitoga paid a visit to the team camp.

Mataitoga will also be presenting the jerseys to the players on Friday night when the run on team will be named for the first pool match.

Fiji will play France at 3.12pm in its first match this Saturday followed by the second pool match against Japan at 6.47pm and against England at 10.09pm.
