Blues forward Steven Luatua looks set to play a major role in the Blues clash with the Brumbies tonight as could not keep his hands off the ball against the Hurricanes last weekend.

Luatua carried the ball 18 times last week.

This was the most any player had done on the Westpac Stadium pitch.

Tonight Luatua is likely to concentrate more on a defensive role, focusing on slowing opposition ball.

The Blues will host the Brumbies at 7.35 tonight while the Reds will host the Chiefs at 9.40pm.

Tomorrow, the Crusaders will face the Rebels at 7.35pm, the Waratahs against the Hurricanes at 9.40pm while the Force will face the Stormers at 11.45pm.
