Low water levels in reservoirs are caused by blocked systems and the current rehabilitation works underway and this has seen many areas facing water disruptions.

Water Authority of Fiji Spokesperson, Joe Cava explains that the current work has seen debri being flushed out of the water systems and in some cases the heavy rain has blocked the water ways.

Cava added that as a result, there is less water supplied to their reservoirs and low levels meaning low pressure.
