If you have been experiencing strong winds and occasional rainfall from last night right through to this morning, please do not panic as the Nadi Weather Office has confirmed that this is due to a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers which lies slow moving over the southern parts of the Fiji group.
A strong wind warning remains in force for all waters with seas expected to be rough, moderate to fresh east to south-east winds, gusty at times, are expected.
The weather is expected to improve later today.
