Not only are florists busy on this very special Valentine’s Day, resorts and hotels have also been busy coming up with a "dinner to remember" for couples looking for a quiet night out.

One such resort is the Uprising Beach Resort in Pacific Harbour, who have made use of the scenery to have a romantic dinner on the beach.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Uprising Beach Resort's reservations manager Mere Kuinikoro said they will be having a romantic dinner which should not be missed!

It’s that time of the Year again when love is bubbling in the air and people have special plans for their loved ones tonight for Valentine's Day.

Fijivillage went around town today and interviewed people on what their plans were for this special day and this is what they said.

Love is clearly in the air as many have made orders to make sure their loved ones wake up to something special for Valentine's Day.

Oasis Floria owner Beth Zhu, said they have been inundated with orders for single stemmed red roses for the past week. She adds they have had to order the roses from New Zealand and her only hope is that she does not disappoint her customers.

Even the cake shops are feeling the brunt of this special day, namely the Raiwaqa Bakery Cake Shop.

Speaking to one of the shop assistants she confrims that last year they ran short of orders, as people were going for the heart shaped cakes. She said this year to avoid a shortage of supply, they decided to bake more and still they are selling fast!

Meanwhile Maroi Flowers assistants were busy the whole night to this morning and are still trying to get their flowers delivered on time to their clients!

Valentine's Day is the day most closely asociated with the mutual exchange of love notes and the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other.
