Sacked Wallabies winger Lote Tuqiri has reportedly flown to Paris last night, scoping lucrative offers to play rugby union in France.

Tuqiri will meet with former Penrith NRL star Craig Gower's club Bayonne and discuss his options with ex-NSW Waratahs Coach Ewen McKenzie, who heads French Top 14 side State Francais.

It appears Tuqiri will go where the money is and turn his back on the NRL, despite a meeting last week with West Tigers Coach Tim Sheens to discuss a move to the club.

Tuqiri had previously said he was reluctant to uproot his young family from Sydney.

The 29 year old settled out of court with the Australian Rugby Union four days ago and dropped legal action over his contract termination after he was paid an undisclosed amount.
