Digicel Fiji 7s coach, Illiesa Tanivula said alot of work is yet to be done with the national side ahead of the Scotland 7s this weekend.
The national side went down in the Cup quarterfinals this morning to New Zealand 33 - 14 and also experienced a shock defeat to Scotland 12-7 during their Pool games, and Tanivula said this has shown some areas of improvement.
Looking at the Scotland 7s, Fiji is drawn in Pool B with Portugal, Spain and Australia.
Meanwhile, England's 31-26 win over New Zealand in the finals has forced South Africa to put their celebrations on hold. The Springboks went into the London 7s needing only 13 points to ensure the title is theirs, however they got 12 of those points by reaching the semifinal, where they were ousted 10-5 by New Zealand.
This means the Boks have to be one of the two teams after the Pool games in the Scotland 7s that qualify for the Quarterfinals as they are in the same Pool with New Zealand, France and USA in Pool A.
