National rugby sevens Coach Ben Ryan believes losing Ilai Tinai will not affect the team.
Ryan said there are other capable players in the extended squad who can step up like former Ratu Kadavulevu School student and Tailevu halfback Henry Seniloli.
Ryan told the players under the Deuba heat that they will be picked on form as the players tried to cope at training yesterday.
Ryan put the players through a grueling session yesterday afternoon with minimal recovery time as he tried to gauge their fitness especially after the festive season.
The former England coach will name a 16 member team this Friday before they break camp and the players who will not make the cut may feature for their respective teams in this weekend’s Uluinakau 7s at Ratu Cakobau Park.
The national side is preparing for the USA 7s which will be held from the 25th to the 27th of this month where Fiji is pooled with New Zealand, Scotland and Australia while the Wellington tournament will be held two weeks later.
