One of the newcomers in this year’s Tadra Kahani show, believes children’s rights are often taken lightly and even neglected at times.
Lomary Secondary will come into this year’s Tadra Kahani show with the theme, "The appreciation and the protection of the rights of a child."
Student representative Papamama Pokino said the increasing number of street kids in Fiji is not a good sign.
The schools taking part in the senior division in this year's Tadra Kahani include defending champions Rishikul Sanatan, Suva Grammar School, Ratu Kadavulevu School, Monfort Boys Town, Tavua District, Cuvu College, along with newcomers Khalsa College, St Vincent, Sila Central, Tavua College and Lomary Secondary.
Tadra Kahani will be held from the 19th to the 21st of this month at the Vodafone Arena.
