The Garden City Lomai Green will be holding on to the Fiji Bitter Draught Shield after defeating the Police Blues 13-10 this afternoon.

The 10th round of the Escott Shield Competition saw major upsets.

In the Premier division, Newtown drew 15-all with Savura, Tacirua beat Nabua Gold 26-17, Fresh’et Navy beat RKS Old Boys 32-16, DHL Raiwaqa defeated FMF Fire 30-19, Fiji Bitter Army Green beat Covenant Blues 24-3, Marist Old Boys beat Newnet QVS Old Boys 18-14.

In the Koroturaga Challenge, Samabula has retained the Fulton Hogan Hiways Cup after beating Wakanisila 23-9.

In other matches, Pacific Agencies Harlequins beat Lami 28-12, Lami Duavata won by default to Grammar Old Boys, Covenant Brothers beat Nabua Maroons 17-12, Tovata beat Moala Youth 3-0 while Golden Eagles beat RICOH Toorak Blues 7-5, Kalokolevu beat Hillview 13-5, Lomai Black defeated Raiwaqa Reds 15-12, Red Rock thrashed Police White 36-10 while Nasinu beat USP 8--7.
