The Employment Relations Tribunal has ordered this afternoon that Meridian Services Agency's Timoci Lolohea stop his recruitment drive with immediate effect.

The tribunal sat this afternoon and Lolohea appeared in person after the issue was taken to the Employment Relations Tribunal by the Labour Ministry.

The tribunal has ordered that Lolohea refrain from recruiting by enlisting, registration, placing advertisement for filling vacancies and offering of employment contracts for and on behalf of an employer to applicants for employment outside Fiji.

The tribunal has also ordered that the Labour Officer continue regular check ups on Lolohea in this regard.

The matter has been relisted for further mention at 9am on the 3rd of next month.
