Timoci Lolohea, who operates Meridian Services Agency Limited, is expected to take a plea later this month on amended charges.

Lolohea was initially charged with allegedly failing to obtain authority from the Labour Minister contrary to Regulation 4 of the Employment Promulgation to recruit people for jobs overseas.

Lolohea appeared before Labour Officer Rasala Malani on Friday on the amended charges of failing to obtain authorization from Permanent Secretary for Labour to carry out employment agency.

The case has been adjourned till 16th July when Lolohea is expected to take a plea.

The Prosecution has been ordered to establish it's case against Lolohea.

The case which was called on the 20th of last month was adjourned after prosecution lawyer and Principal Labour Officer, Malakai Rokoti informed the Tribunal that they needed time to file new amended charges.
