Rewa’s soccer club, Lokia United looks good to lift the Southern Forest, R C Manubhai National club championship title after registering an impressive win in the first match.

Laced with district reps with the likes of Epeli Saukuru, Sanni Issa, Ratu Veresa Toma and Misaele Drunibaka, Lokia United beat Chelsea sports 5-2 yesterday.

In another match yesterday, Lami based club, All Whites put up an impressive performance to beat Suva based club Police 2-1.

Meanwhile, the match between Raymonds and Lokia sports club could not go ahead as scheduled at Ratu Cakobau Park due to a power failure last night.

In the Women’s IDC which is being played at Govind Park, defending champions, Suva looks the team to beat after a 1-0 win over Labasa and 2-0 win over Tavua.

In other matches yesterday, Lami was thumped 6-0 by Nadi, Ba beat Nadroga 3-0 in the first match and later beat Lautoka 4-0.

The pool matches will continue today.
