A decision has been made on the location of the new US Aid Office for the Pacific but it has been kept under wraps.

Radio New Zealand reported that US Ambassador to Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu, Teddy Taylor, confirmed a decision had been made however they will not be revealing anything until July.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had announced last October that the United States Agency for International development would open an office in Fiji this year with a fund of $21 million to deal with climate change issues.
